RE: Speeding up ATLAS build time
Clint,
I am trying a slight variant on your suggestion:
PMAKE = $(MAKE) -j 4
obj = tst.o tst2.o
dlib :
$(PMAKE) lib.grd
lib.grd : $(obj)
ar r tst.a $(obj)
touch lib.grd
This seems to work pretty well; all the dependencies
are preserved, and I think the $(obj) dependency is
only checked once....
